A Bit About Me

Hello, I'm Waikotahi, 

I am a freelance artist who specializes in character art, concept art, and illustrations. For 3 years I have been dedicated to creating 2D productions for personal projects, clients and to help contribute to reputable studios in the foreseeable future.

Having a keen eye for detail, a quick learner, and someone who likes to think outside the box, I have gained the ability to produce results to my client's needs, keeping consistency to their vision and only making creative changes if necessary from both myself and the client. These skills have proven useful for my artistic journey to not only improve myself but to improve more satisfactory results in my projects.

Outside of creative industry I have gained skills and experience working part time and full time in various industries such as hospitality, fitness, warehousing, and other areas of the workspace. Through this experience I have gained a reputation of being hard working, dedicated and always striving for the best outcome while working in a team, by myself and managing teams. These acquired skills have also given me valuable work ethic when I am working on freelance 2D projects and can make me a beneficial team member when working in a studio.

I currently work in a home office studio, equipped with the necessary tools and always ready for future endeavours.
